Meet the team: Jesper van Eijk 

Introducing Jesper, our 38-year-old Domestic Planner, who has been with Voerman Group for over two decades, all while staying as enthusiastic as ever about his role in the company. He has a passion for sports, traveling and making every move a successful one! 

A journey through the years 

Jesper joined Voerman Group as a fresh schoolboy in the field. In no time, he was a vital part of the moving team and became a full-time employee. He got his very own company van, partnering with his trusty colleague, Robert Stierman, to handle hundreds of relocation projects. In 2019, a new challenge arrived and Jesper embraced it wholeheartedly by transitioning to the planning department. Four years later, he’s still at it and every minute of it. 

What Jesper finds most exhilarating about his current role is being the bridge between coordination and execution. “Together, we strive to make every relocation a success”.  

A sporty lifestyle and love for the outdoors 

In his spare time, you’ll often find Jesper engaged in various sports activities. He’s an enthusiastic participant in Bootcamp sessions, dedicating himself to 4 or 5 workouts a week. Additionally, he enjoys the relaxation of cycling, particularly going for rides on his racing bike. But that’s not all, Jesper also loves spending time on his boat and enjoying the beautiful weather, or attending Feyenoord matches.  

Traveling also holds a special place in the heart of Jesper. He recently returned from a memorable trip to Croatia. Him and his travel companions embarked on a road trip through the country. Some of his most cherished journeys include exploring Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Morocco (a must-visit, he says), and South Africa. 

The heart of gold 

If his colleagues were to describe him, they’d use words like “helpful,” “supportive,” and “loyal.” Jesper is always the first to lend a hand, whether it’s for a coworker or for the company as a whole.

Looking back at two decades 

When asked about his most memorable experiences at Voerman, Jesper has a tough time picking just one. Over his two-decade journey, he’s been part of countless remarkable moments, from overseeing memorable relocations to joining a VIP move to Rome. What truly sets these experiences apart, though, is the incredible colleagues he’s had to share them with.
