Voerman thanks all truck drivers on National Truck Driver Appreciation Day

On the 12th of December 2019, we celebrate the ‘National Trucker Driver Apprecation Day’ in the Netherlands. During this day we show our appreciation to all truck drivers for their hard work and engagement. Voerman welcomed all drivers via the red carpet and served coffee with the delicious so-called “Haagse Kakker”.

As a surprise Ms. Cora van Nieuwenhuizen, The Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management, visited us to express her thanks to our drivers. She talked to our colleague Roar Westerdijk who just came back with his truck from a job. She showed interest in his work as well as him as a person.

We are proud that the Minister chose Voerman as a company to visit on this special day.
